George H. Warden Jr. was born and raised in Stanaford, West Virginia where his mother took him to Sunday School and Church at Stanaford Missionary Baptist Church.  At the age of 14, he accepted the Lord as Savior.  Leaving home in 1966 to attend Virginia Military Institute with plans of pursuing a career in the law, he became involved with the Lexington Baptist Church, where he met his future wife, Pamela Straub of Lexington.  They were married on May 17, 1970, just hours after his graduation from VMI.  George entered into active military service in the United State Army, but the Lord worked to open the door to a business opportunity that brought him and Pam back to Lexington in 1972 where he and his wife...
